Sometimes I love the non-approved concepts more than the ones that are approved and go before the public. Am I to blame for them not being accepted? Was I not persuasive enough? Or maybe just maybe, the paying client should get what they want. “The client is always right”, as they say. So I make my case as a professional, I present what I consider to be my best solutions, and gracefully defer to their final decision. Sometimes that involves crow-barring elements of 2 incompatible concepts together! If I don’t like their choice, I just don’t show it in my portfolio. The client is happy.
