One of my favourite—and quickest identity designs, in an efficient German style

This became part of a website design project. The client didn’t have a suitable logo for the new business, so this was my first design task.

Design Process

I pretty much designed this in my head in a a few seconds then scribbled it out on paper. The initial onscreen artwork probably took all of 15 minutes.
For a company supplying German products to make your house build as energy neutral as possible, the logo pretty has everything that it should:

• The sun
• The House
• The warmth inside the house
• The German styling

It’s also friendly and fun.

Typography

A nice rounded font has been used, somewhat inspired by the Bauhaus.

Conclusion

The website that I designed for this company was a very simple one, and this logo popped into it just right. The client was very happy.
